I was a monk for 12 years. 🙏

The first five were some of the most beautiful and transformative of my entire life. Surrounded by people deeply aligned with my values, my vision, my search. For the first time in a long time, I felt normal being so different.

But at some point something changed.

One day, my community, instead of supporting me to follow my vision of inspiring the whole world, told me I couldn't teach presence without their permission. There were reasons. Maybe even reasonable ones for their minds. But they weren't enough for my soul.

Something broke in me that day.

And it took me years, because when I commit to something, it's very hard for me to uncommit. But the reality is that from that day, something was damaged. And the only way to heal it was to let go. To let go of any community that, instead of supporting my vision and my freedom, was asking me to give it up.

There is no reason good enough for that.

I believe each one of us is here to shine an absolutely unique expression of the divine. That presence and the divine are, at their core, the same thing. But that each one of us has a unique flavor of that presence, of that essence.

That is why this summit has no single path. No single guru.

We have more than 10 speakers who explore presence in money, trauma, intimacy, family, death. In the coming days I will introduce you to each one of them. Each with their own path, their own story, learning to be true to themselves. And I believe that by exposing ourselves to all these different approaches, something is going to click in each one of us who listens. Something is going to blossom like never before.
