"Loto for president", they used to chant... and why that ruined me π
The kid who could inspire anyone... but kept his gift small...

"Loto for president," they used to say. π³οΈ
I was maybe five years old. Sitting in a classroom full of kids who β for whatever reason β already saw something in me. βLoto presidente. Loto presidente.β A little boy who could talk, who could move people, who was born β it seemed β to communicate.
And yet.
What nobody taught me back then β what I didnβt learn from my family, my teachers, my world β was to fall in love with my effort. What they praised were my results. So I got addicted to results. And gifts, without dedication, stay painfully, heartbreakingly small.
πͺ What would you do if you already had everything?
(What would you do?!)
I asked myself this question the other day. And the answer hit me somewhere deep:
I would communicate more.
Probably with a bigger team. Probably with better equipment. But you know what? I have a phone. I can turn it around and shoot myself saying something meaningful. Right now. Today.
So I made a commitment. π£
I am showing up on social media β minimum on WhatsApp status, but ideally on every platform β at least once a day, for the rest of this year.
And yes, as I say that out loud, I notice the weight of it.
That's a big agreement.
π₯ Why 100 push-ups?
Because agreements matter. When I say I will do something and I mean it β whether it's with someone else or with myself β I do it. And if I don't? I choose to Compensate. Consciously. Not from guilt, but from integrity.
I won't fall into the trap of no pasa nada β "it doesn't matter, whatever." It does matter. Everything affects everything. What I do or don't do, it all ripples, inward and outward.
So if I miss a day of posting β I do 100 push-ups. And I still post the next day.
Maybe that sounds harsh to you. Maybe it sounds too masculine. And I get it β this approach is deeply rooted in a masculine way. Agreements are masculine. But here's what I've come to believe: being integrated β as a human, as a woman, as a man β means having a healthy balance of both feminine and masculine energy. It's not about being more masculine or more feminine. It's about being more healthy and whole.
And part of being whole is keeping my word. To myself. Because I am worth that.
π² Here's where I'll be showing up:
And probably also here Instagram. Youtube. Facebook. Tiktok. LinkedIn. Twitter (X). RedNote for my chinese tribe π - all of it under @lotovazquezβ¦
Follow me. Watch me. Hold me accountable. Tell me if what I'm sharing is actually useful to you. That feedback means so much.
Now, back to that question. The one that cracked me open a little:
π What would we do if you were already completely successful?
Not someday successful. Already successful. Right now.
Would we get more in shape? I don't need a personal trainer to exercise. I can do it now.
Would we love the people around us more generously? I don't need more money or status to be generous, caring, and fully present. I can do that now.
Would we communicate what's burning inside us? I can start now.
We can start now.
Most of the most important things in life β I can start right now. π‘
Not with perfect conditions. Not with the perfect setup, the perfect team, the perfect moment.
Right now.
That's what this newsletter is really about. Not social media. Not 100 push-ups. It's about transmuting our excuses. It's about refusing to betray what we truly want just because many of us are waiting for everything to be "enough" β enough resources, enough success, enough control.
To me that's not patience. But self-betrayal dressed up as being realistic.
And posting every day? It's already teaching me things. πͺ
Every hesitation that shows up. Every doubt. Every "Iβve already tried before." Every "I am not good enough".
It's all personal growth, made visible.
So here's my question for you:
What is something you have no real excuse to not start β that you could commit to doing for the rest of the year? Even a little. Even once a week. Even once.
Write it down. Say it out loud. Maybe tell someone. Tell me, if you want.
This is Hawimi Kindness with yourself. It's not harshness. It's not toxic pressure. It's choosing you β your soul, your vision, your self-respect β over the comfortable lie of "not yet." Itβs honoring care and consent starting with yourself.
With Hawimi Kindness,
Loto π€
π P.S. If you want this kind of clarity and accountability in your own life β consistently β I work with a couple of people one-on-one and just a few in small groups. If that's calling you, DM me directly.
And if this landed for you β forward it to someone who needs to hear it today. That's kindness too.
Devour your excuses. Follow yourself to paradise and beyond. πΏ
